Help with PIRA.
PIRA is an iPhone wellness app. It compares your own heart rate and HRV with conversations you log and events on your calendar. It does not diagnose, and it does not claim that another person causes stress.
What is a score?
A score is the change in your heart rate and HRV around a conversation or event, compared with your own recent baseline. Engaging means more activated than usual. Relaxing means less activated than usual. Neither word is a medical result, and neither is a judgement of the other person.
Why is a chart empty?
Insights need Apple Health readings and a few logged conversations or calendar events in the same days. Allow Health and Calendar when iOS asks, then give it a week or two. A pattern for one person appears after three scored conversations with them. Exercise can be set aside so a workout is not scored as a conversation.
Does PIRA listen to calls or read my messages?
No. You log a conversation yourself: who, when, and how long. PIRA does not record audio and does not import iMessage, SMS, or WhatsApp.
Do you upload photos or send images to an AI?
No. PIRA does not access your photos, does not upload images, and does not send images to an AI.
What happens to my health data?
Heart rate, HRV, resting heart rate, sleep, activity, workouts, and temperature from Apple Health are stored in our database so the app can show your own patterns. We do not sell that data and we do not use it for advertising. The full account is in the privacy policy.
What leaves my phone from Calendar and Contacts?
Calendar titles stay on the iPhone. Event notes are never read. We store times, the calendar name, and a little metadata such as duration and whether a location was set. Contacts, if you allow them, stay on the device and are used only to label a person you choose. We do not upload your address book.
How do I delete my account?
Open Profile and choose Delete account. That removes the login and the data stored for the account, including health readings, and it clears the copy kept on the phone.
How do I get a copy of my data?
Email us from the address on your account and ask for an export. We will send the data we store: account, people, conversation metadata, calendar metadata, health readings, and check-ins. Titles and notes that never left the phone are not in that file.
How do I sign in?
Use Sign in with Apple, or create an account with email. If email confirmation does not arrive, check spam, then write to us and we will help.
Is this medical advice?
No. PIRA is a wellness app for noticing patterns in your own data. It does not diagnose, treat, or tell you who is responsible for how you feel. If you are worried about your health, talk to a clinician.
